This week I sit down with the Grandfather of NY Redistricting, Jeff Wice of the New York Law School. We go over the bipartisan maps passed by the NY legislature, why they rejected and slightly altered the New York State Independent Redistricting Commission maps. This week I talk about the first day of the County Wide Hand Count at Onondaga County Board of Elections. We determined winners in 3 of the smaller races but will need 4 or 5 more days to finish the County Clerk hand count. I update on our progress and the process in place.

Today I give an update of where the Onondaga County Board of Elections leaves off going into the Thanksgiving holiday in wrapping up the 2023 election and preparing for the countywide recount. I also pontificate a bit on politics over the Thanksgiving holiday.

Today I talk about the final canvass results for absentees and Affidavits and the four races  Onondaga County Board of Elections  has declared eligible for the handcount. For the second year straight we will be counting over 90k ballots by hand to determine winners.  #everyvotecounts
