Coming Alive

Jesus turned to Peter asking him if he loved him 3 times and thereafter inviting him to tend to Jesus' sheep. Jesus was drawing Peter from the depths of shame and guilt over his failures and refocusing him toward love and service.

The Resurrected Christ mets the disciples in John 21:1-14.

Mary Magdalene is alone by the tomb, weeping over all that had just happened. Then Jesus reveals Himself to her by calling her name in an endearing way. And she instantly knew who Jesus was because of the connection they had. We all end up in moments of suffering which could be symbolised by Mary's weeping. It is unfortunate many people suffer alone. Jesus knows us by name and knows our story....
