Coming Alive

Maybe it was something small. A word. A gesture. A note - Sheltering trees. Maybe it was big—a second chance, a healed relationship, a breakthrough, an invitation into something that changed your life - marriage work. You don’t walk away from a gift like that . Unless, of course, you’re the man in Mark 10.

We gather to reflect on being disciple making disciples… An invitation to deepen our connection to God, grow some roots as a community of faith and walking with another.

Friends, this Sunday, we gather to reflect on our true identity as articulated in the baptism of Jesus. This is an invitation to be secure in God.

We gather to reflect on the story of Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones. We are put in valleys to impact them with the power of God. This is an invitation to be bearers of the work of resurrection

We reflect on the power of God that calls us out of the dead. This is an invitation to know and trust the God who moves powerfully in our lives and our world.

Christ is Risen, He is risen indeed! We begin a series of conversations for the called Arise! We will be exploring how God has always been on the work of resurrection - breathing new life where there is none

How is it we can let Jesus free us from our need for certainty to a life that is more open to mystery and waiting!?

Where are you in this story? Are you with the mourning crowd or the hope-filled one? What part of your heart has become hard in response to pain? Invite Jesus to touch it. Where do you need to stop and show compassion today? Pay attention to who is near the “gate” in your life.

As we continue with the Lent Series Yes Lord, on this sunday we reflect on Jesus as the Lord of slowness, pausing and retreating to quite places to commune with God. Key Scripture is Matthew 11:28-30.

Today we look at Lord of Abundance. Our scripture is a familiar passage. Today’s scripture reading comes from John 2:1-12 Stand for the reading of the word.

Today in towards better relationships we look at love.

Today we will look at moving past anxiety in our families: towards better relationships -family.

There are many things that affect the relationships we are a part of. In this series we want to explore how one aspect of our being human impacts our relationships in a great way and how to grow and manage it so we can move towards better in all relationships we find ourselves in.

This is an invitation to intentionally turn towards one another as we turn towards God and serve the world. The faith Journey was never meant to be a solo endeavour but a communal undertaking.

We are coming from a year of so much distress in our country. Many in our society have experienced strife. We explore the implications of God's missional move when he called Abraham (Genesis 12:1-4). John 15 tells us that God is glorified when we bear fruit. The fruit that comes with abiding in him. This conversation is an emphasis on prayer.

The Christmas story invites us to surrender to the all powerful God and live truly free from the hold of power on us.

Kings of the nations realised Jesus was no ordinary king and traveled from afar to honour him. There is a profound significance in the visit by the magi and the gifts they brought. They show us what kind of King Jesus is

John the baptist was so secure in his identity that he took on a posture of decreasing that Christ may increase. He was just alright preparing the way. We are called to a John the baptist posture.
