In which I'm reminded that there is no series that doesn't read better when you go through it all at once...  But it reads best if you're a guy who's still in touch with his inner 15-year-old.

The first collections of Marvel's new "Star Wars" comics show the publisher to be doing right by the license.  Any guesses as to how long it'll stay that way?

Thanks to the great Viz manga shrinkage , I finally get around to seeing if this shonen action/fantasy series is as good as everyone says it is.

The first volume of "The Complete ElfQuest" belongs in any serious comic fan's library.  Now if only Dark Horse would get around to reprinting the rest of what came after so I can actually enjoy "The Final Quest."

Garth Ennis may have created "Crossed," but Si Spurrier is the first to show that another writer can do it justice.

One of the weakest Marvel events in recent memory.  At least it allowed me to get caught up on Cullen Bunn's "Magneto!"

My thoughts on volumes 21 & 22 as the series wraps up in a satisfying way that still isn't on par with the best it has had to offer.

Could be said to follow on from this .  My thoughts on "Wytches" vol. 1, "Rumble" vol. 1, "Invincible" vol. 21, "The Wicked + The Divine" vol. 2, and "The Autumnlands" vol. 1 -- listed and discussed in ascending order of quality.

Brian Wood's creator-owned follow-up to "DMZ" has its moments, but never fully realizes its potential.

Mike Carey and Peter Gross' story about stories isn't part of Vertigo's A-list, but is a solid read overall.

Myron joins us to talk about what may be Dan Slott's last major Spider-event.  It's marred by predictability and some weak antagonists, but at least it has some great goofy stuff around the edges.

You can't go wrong with any of the numbered volumes of the Rabbit Ronin's adventures!  As for his latest, "Senso," well...

The Original Writer's long out-of-print classic still holds up really well today.  Even with all the extra padding in these new editions.

Best comic I'll read this year?  Biggest disappointment I've experienced in ages?  Or somewhere in between.  My thoughts on the final volume of my favorite ongoing series.

Brian Azzarello and Cliff Chiang's take on DC's Amazon warrior princess has been one of the consistent highlights of the "New 52."  Does their finale measure up to the rest of their run?
