This message encourages us to build our lives on the firm foundation of Christ. That we are no longer the ones in charge of the building plans. He is our source of direction and instruction, and we listen in obedience because we love Him.

This message is a powerful reminder of the hope that we have in knowing that death is not the end; our hope will take us into eternity. This eternal hope found in Jesus transforms our past, illuminates our present, and gives us a perspective that can see the glory yet to come. 

This message reminds us that we can experience suffering and trials of many kinds yet have the power to endure because of hope. When we choose to hope and rejoice in the midst of suffering, our faith is being strengthened and our eyes are fixed upward. Our hope comes from above, not from within.

This living hope propels us forward into every moment to carry the message of this hope into the world around us.

Our hope is not grounded in circumstances, but it rests on the character and nature of God, the One who doesn't change and always fulfills His promises. We hope not in ourselves, but in the One holds all things together. 

This message encourages us that we are going to make it as we journey toward God. As we embrace the pressure that comes with the pilgrimage and learn to speak the language of His word, we will find that we won't just survive the journey but will be singing His praise in the end.

We are reminded that the wilderness is not a place to avoid, but one to embrace for the formation that takes place there.

While the world wants to evaluate your life based upon a singular moment, walking with God is a pilgrimage where He encounters you along the way and fills you with the hope that only comes from Him.
