"If we Forbid tongues, then we are challenging God, since God is the initiator and giver of gifts." Speaking in tongues was a phenomenon that marked the Holy Spirit filling the believers on the day of Pentecost. This gift should be a part of our regular communion with God, remembering that we are empowered to be witness for Jesus Christ. #BecauseLoveGives

Through unanswered prayers, God invites us to be spiritually intimate with Him, for prayers are an interaction with God, not a service transaction. Only through living the questions and living life in accordance to His plan do we mature spiritually.  #BecauseLoveGives

Prayer begins with magnifying God. And prayer ends with a deeper relationship with God, our heavenly Father.  #BecauseLoveGives

Just as God interrupted Mary's plans for His purpose, our desires may not be the life that God wants for us. So let us learn to hear His voice, to know His heart more; that His calling for us be revealed when we trust that He has a perfect and loving plan. #BecauseLoveGives 

Everywhere God is, prayer is. Since God is everywhere, so prayer must permeate every area of our lives. Prayer is the key to everything we need to do and be in life. Let us collectively make space to pray and have an intentional awareness to God's presence in our busy lives. #BecauseLoveGives

Fruit-bearing for God is  not a human possibility; it is Christ's work through us. We were reminded in this timely manner that obedience to God does not build a wall of restrictions, but instead connects us to the source of life that is Jesus.  #BecauseLoveGives

Jesus arose from the dead to offer us permanent peace! God calls you by name. When you hear His voice, your whole life will be turned around and turns towards Him! #BecauseLoveGives

In the Silence that ensues death lies a space for all who mourn. Where one sees loss, another sees gain. #BecauseLoveGives

As we partake the Lord's Supper, let this act of remembrance nourish our souls and find rest in His presence; knowing that He holds the ultimate victory. #BecauseLoveGives

God wants us to journey through life with Him eternally, by having faith, emulating His work and recognizing Him as our savior.  Let us who believe in Jesus participate in His works, become His sheep and share in His life. #BecauseLoveGives

Eternal life is not simply life that never ends, but a fullness of life that is unending.  Eternal life begins when we give our heart to Jesus. Living life with Christ and getting to know Him intimately as we navigate through life, marks the beginning of this gift. Eternal life starts here on earth! #BecauseLoveGives

When our souls are anchored in God, achievements & possessions matter less.  Like trees planted by streams of water, we will stand strong no matter the weather, because our souls are constantly nourished by the living water of God.  #BecauseLoveBuilds 

What was hurtful because of human error, became a symbol of God's love and mercy. We are reminded that in brokenness, we should always turn and depend on God. His love is stronger than any sin, and our salvation is an everlasting promise. #BecauseLoveBuilds

if our works are for Jesus and Jesus only, then it is also in Him we find true rest. Let us not hurry but instead, do things in His time and teach our souls to slow down and enjoy the Sabbath that God intended. #BecauseLoveBuilds

Soul keeping keeps our inner world healthy to make a positive difference in the outer world.

When you are connected to God, rivers of living water will flow from you! Still and unmoved, it nourishes what's nearby. But when it flows, it reaches far and sustains those beyond us; much like the love God has placed in us. #LoveBuildsBeyond

We live in an imperfect world with broken people serving a perfect God whose unconventional love puts us in line with suffering. But in this act, He blesses us with the gift of thriving in adversity; so that we continue to shine through darkness, bringing light to all those around us. #BecauseLoveBuilds

We are a soul made by God, made for God and made to need God, which means we are not made to be self-sufficient.

Successful relationships are not accidental, it is by design.
