Cobra Kai Never Dies

It's been a cruel, cruel summer, but we've survived long enough to witness Tory's epic fight face, an all out high-school brawl that leaves Lata's karate son Miguel is in the hospital, and the return of Kreese aka the Phantom of the Dojo! You've come this far with us, time to go all the way.

On the heels of season 2 finale, this episode brings all the pulpo! Join us as we discuss Tory and Sam's inexplicable training montages, Johnny/Daniel double dating up a storm, and yet another innocent teen party ruined by karate rivalries. 

Lull over! This week: Johnny gets on his fancy smartphone and tries out all the dating apps, Daniel mounts an aggressively lame campaign to win back his poor overworked wife, and we try to fill the gaping void left by one Sensei Kreese. We do it all for the glory of love. 

Before Lata and Nina go on a holiday "lull," we're breaking down episode 7! The Cobra Kai teens do a Rambo exercise in the woods, Kreese is well on his way to jumping the shark, and we're all forced to watch the horrifying mating dance of Robby and Sam.

On our longest episode yet, Lata and Nina bear witness to the Cobra Kai teens crashing a cool canyon party (that's a thing, apparently), the sudden appearance of Darth Miguel, and Johnny/Daniel's nostalgia-fueled bonding sesh being rudely interrupted by the omnipresent Robby Keene. Thanks a lot, Robby! 

What really went down at the 1984 All Valley tournament? In episode 8, Johnny finally tells us his side of the story, Robby gets a smooth jazz karate training montage in the woods, and Louie does something stupid...again. It's all going down in episode 8, so take a listen! Don't get left out. Like Anthony LaRusso.
