Christmas is a message about peace in the midst of a broken world

Christmas is a time when we focus on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, His First Advent. The word advent means "coming" or "arrival". We also look forward to the day He will return as King and Judge - His Second Advent.

Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to be our Helper. As we spend time in God's presence, we can develop our inner ear to hear the Holy Spirits guidance - even in turbulent times.

To hear God's voice we must stop, look and listen. But then like any relationship, we need to act upon what we have heard. To obey and respond to what God has spoken, is honoring and pleasing in His sight.

Our lives are filled with many voices competing for our attention. Yet many of us never hear the one voice we long to hear the most. In the midst of it all, God is still speaking but we need to tune into His frequency.
