No one's journey to Jesus is the same, but it will take us out of our comfort zone and the hardships are meant to change us.

Israel thought the coming Messiah would bring peace by military means, saving them from their enemies, not as a baby born in a manger who would bring "peace" by dying on a cross. Jesus, the Prince of Peace, secures us VIP access to God by His Spirit when we believe in Him.

This is what a good father is like and how, by knowing this, it will change us.

Mighty God ~ Jesus the One who defeats our sin debt once for all. Warrior God ~ the One who fights for us against our enemies in spiritual forces, rulers of darkness and the devil and humiliates the powers of evil through the power of the cross.

The "Wonderful Counselor" is the Planner of Marvels who is the author of a marvelous salvation. This salvation is Spirit-powered and is for everyone. This marvelous salvation cuts to the core of our innermost thoughts and pierces our heart. We should be looking for, paying attention to, what the Spirit is up to and what He has for us to do.

Self-control starts with the Spirit and by staying in the Scripture.

Biblical gentleness is not niceness or weakness! Biblical gentleness: acknowledging that people are fragile, so handle with care! Jesus' gentleness: kindness even towards enemies.

Biblical faithfulness: obedience even when it makes no sense; trust even when it makes no sense; keeping your promise of blessing.

Biblical kindness: compassion in action. Biblical goodness: generosity with time and resources.

Biblical patience: extreme restraint while waiting for change.

Joy and peace are very interconnected because they're the two attributes where it has to do with our relationship to our circumstances and our relationship with God in a way that the other attributes don't. Even in the midst of chaos, grief, and trials we can still have God's joy and peace.

Love one another as I have loved you. Jesus set the example of loving others by humbling Himself and serving with a sacrificial, deep, never ending love. The world will know we are His disciples by our love for one another.

These are fruit of the Spirit. We can't produce or improve them! We need to be walking with the Spirit to produce them. They are given to us to help our spiritual family thrive.

Salvation - God never lets go. Ever! No matter what. Everyone needs a spiritual assistant to become like Jesus. Pursue people for Jesus' sake.

Growing up in Christ. Don't stay a baby drinking only milk.

Jesus, the Good Shepherd, has compassion for all because of His love.

In OT times the priest stood between the people and God. Today Jesus is our High Priest and stands between us and God.
