For our Family Worship Service, Pastor Neil expounds on the origins and meaning of the beloved Christmas carol "It Came Upon The Midnight Clear".

Drawing on Psalm 74 and the beloved carol "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel", Pastor Tom teaches on answered prayer, reminding us that we are not always ready for God to fulfill our requests. Thankfully, He is gracious to help us respond to whatever He brings our way.

Teaching on Luke 12:1-12, Pastor Neil encourages us to stand strong for the gospel. Being challenged may bring temporary discomfort, but confidence in the Lord will have eternal impact.

Teaching on Luke 11:37-54, Pastor Neil brings our attention to where we place our attention. Do we focus on outward appearances? Do we place expectations on others that we don't demand of ourselves? Or, do we choose to trust the Lord to accomplish His will as He works in each of us, from the inside out.

Teaching on Luke 11:14-26, Pastor Neil discusses the reality of demonic presence in our lives, and advises us to rely on Divine Aid - our church, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit - to resist demonic temptation and deceit.

In this message, Pastor Tom asks believers to examine their motivations for good works, denying the urge to prioritize busyness - regardless of its merit - above time spent in relationship with the Lord.

Lord,teach us to pray. How do we, as believers, pray? Pastor Neil teaches us about the Lord's prayer, or 'the disciple's prayer' explaining what our attitude needs to be in prayer, what our prayers should contain and in what manner we need to pray.

In this message, Pastor Neil asks us to examine the limits of our love, and to minister to others as Jesus would have us do.

Pastor Tom teaches us that, to be powerfully used by God, we must become like babies, naively trusting Jesus and following his commands, no questions asked. In God’s economy, it is through the babies—not the wise and intelligent—that the Spirit disarms the powers and brings about the shalom of God.

In this message, Pastor Tom discusses the peace that Jesus Christ freely offers every believer, noting, sadly, that His offer of peace is often met with rejection and hostility by those who are satisfied with the status quo of corruption or spiritual bondage.

In this message, Pastor Neil asks us to consider our responses to the Lord's call: "Will we answer? Will we hesitate? Will we walk away?" He encourages us to diligently consider what our response will be before the Lord calls on us to serve Him.

In this message, Pastor Neil cautions against judgment and exclusivity in ministry. He encourages us to celebrate whatever God is doing, wherever He is doing it, through whomever He chooses--acknowledging that the Kingdom of God is bigger and grander than we can imagine.

Pastor Neil discusses our predilection for desiring "the next best thing" and encourages us to be attentive to living well in the present, knowing that we'll find "the next best thing" even sweeter when we've followed the path directed by the Lord.

In this message, Pastor Neil contrasts the true identity of Jesus Christ with who the chief priests, scribes, and even some of His disciples, believed Him to be, leading to the contrast of the Christ-dependent, self-denying life, which ends in salvation and reward, with the Christ-denying, self-obsessed life, which ends in condemnation and loss.

In this message, Pastor Neil teaches that the Lord gives gifts, responsibility, power and authority to those who are mature enough to handle it. He encourages believers to be mindful of the opportunities brought to them for acts of mercy, hospitality, and the spread of the gospel, using this power wisely, where the gospel will be received.

Pastor Tom discusses the healings that Jesus effected in Luke Chapter 8, suggesting that, in order to have the the kind of faith that isn't choked by the thorns of life, you may need to risk your image, accepting the social costs of your faith.

Pastor Neil discusses the deliverance of the demon-possessed man in the eighth chapter of Luke, illustrating that God's power often manifests itself in the changing of hearts and lives. He asks each of us to consider how we will respond to evidence of His power: will we try to hold on to the status quo? or will we embrace the power of God, therein finding our purpose?

Pastor Neil returns to his series on the Gospel of Luke to discuss the Parable of the Sower, illustrating that the moment we receive salvation, we've passed from death to life. Unfortunately, there are many who, despite having the God-given ability to hear, are spiritually deaf, unable to translate the Word of God into a change of heart and mind. Take heed how you hear!

Pastor Neil shares news of persecuted Christians throughout the world, reminding us that when any member of the body of Christ suffers, the rest of us, as the body of the Church, suffer as well. Pastor Neil speaks from Scripture about suffering for the Christian and how to have a resurrected view about it. What will you do when suffering comes? and it will come. Will suffering strengthen you or break you? Suffering will change you either for good or for bad. Let your suffering become your witness to the world of Jesus and His love.

Our society is often very dismissive of the blessing of children, but Jesus wasn't! Pastor Neil speaks on the part children should have in our lives, the church and especially the gospel.

Are Christians really suppose to have fun? Pastor Tom teaches us from the Bible about play and what that really means to us as believers.
