So if you're joy-empty or joyless, or maybe only joy-3/4 full then this message is for you! And if you think you're joy-full it might turn out that there's more joy to be had.

As it's Father's Day we'll be hearing about God's Fatherhood in James and how we can imitate it as dads in 2021. Should be an encouragement and a challenge.

God doesn't see you the way you see you. He doesn't choose us to serve Him because of our abilities.

Today we'll continue "I Dare You" with James the Just, Jesus's half-brother. James dares us to finish our faith with action and has some very practical and contemporary examples that we need to hear today.

We'll continue "I Dare You" with the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace--your kids will love it!

We continue "I Dare You" today with the story of Paul confronting demonic powers and the consequences of doing so. Whether we know it or not, we too are beset by the enemy's schemes--what can we do about it and what can we expect to happen?

Today we continue "I Dare You" with Barnabas, the "Son of Encouragement." We'll see that encouraging people takes a lot more than just words (but those are important too!).

We are continuing our I Dare You series with Mary, the mother of Jesus today. We are always trying to figure out and understand God so we can fit Him in a box. Mary doesn't and shows us how to face the impossible.

We are continuing the "I Dare You" series with the story of Nehemiah and we'll get a chance to see what God has to say about making those big asks in life.

Today we begin a brand new series, "I Dare You: Lessons in Biblical Courage." We'll start in Judges 3 today with the story of Ehud, the left-handed assassin(!).

Today we're going to address what the resurrection means for CBC in 2021. After a year of division and strife, does the resurrection point the way forward? I believe it does and we'll hear from the Apostle Paul who most definitely agrees.

Today we'll look at Paul's evangelistic style in the Book of Acts and think about how we can be better at sharing our faith today.

We'll be finishing our series in Jonah today, seeing how through Jonah, God is inviting us to be His messengers of grace.

Today we'll examine just how big God's grace really is and what that might mean for our lives right now.

We look at how God will show Jonah (and us) just how deep and powerful God's commitment is. We'll address the language of prayer, how Scripture changes the way we think, and the confidence we can have in grace.

A practical look at how God dispenses grace and how we can be a part of that process.

Today we're beginning a new series, Jonah: The Mystery of God's Grace. We'll start this week with Jonah trying to hoard God's grace for himself and his people. Spoiler alert: it won't work out very well.
