Today is a story of how I found clarity through a breakup. Not everything is a bed of roses, but once you start to see what you think is a problem, it is just what you think. My love and understanding grew by leaps and bounds. The only reason to be in a relationship is to have a good feeling for that person. I chose to follow the good feeling, and I am forever changed because of it.

I used to think the change was supposed to happen overnight. But as I watch my children grow, I notice that change can, in my case, take 37 years. This life thing is a whole mood. Change happens without us even noticing most of the time. When I saw that, I took my foot off the gas, thinking it had to all happen my way now.
