We’re celebrating Women’s History Month!

Seventh graders engaged in a science project over three class periods to build successful solar ovens, learning about the design process and trial and error while harnessing solar energy to cook and ultimately eat s'mores.

Inspired by family and prior running experience, eighth-grade cross country runners describe the difficult sport as one that builds endurance and perseverance and is enjoyed because of the ability to pass people at the finish line.

Coaches who are also teachers at Clay Middle School highlight that the most rewarding aspect of their experience is witnessing the progressive improvement of athletes throughout the season, characterized by successes ranging from observing cross country times drop to celebrating players' skill development and memorable victories in basketball.
