Since October 2004, host Gerry Prokopowicz (East Carolina University history professor) has held weekly in-depth conversations about Civil War history with various historians, authors, curators, artists and other people whose work is of interest to students of the Civil War era. Guests have included James McPherson, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Gary Gallagher, Caroline Janney, Peter Carmichael, Carol Reardon, and many others.
