As we wind down the Jonah series we discuss the end of the book. Celebrate with us that God is still pursuing! 

In Jonah 4 Chuck unpacks the truth that God pursues broken people 

In Jonah 3 the Ninevites to repent from the sin and turn to God. This story illustrates God's pursuing love towards his enemies? As children of God do we embody that characteristic? 

As Jonah goes down into the belly of the fish in Jonah 1:17-2:10 we are reminded that God pursues us even at our lowest. As God pursues, He mercifully disciplines and always hears us! 

This week Kinnon preaches through Jonah 1:7-10 and shares the good news about how God pursues hypocrites! 

In Jonah 1:4-6 we see that God pursues us through the storms. 

This week we begin our Jonah Series subtitles God Pursues. The Book of Jonah is not about a big fish, but a big God! Kinnon begins Jonah, by explaining how God pursues runaways. 

Jesus keeps His promise and He give us hope!

In Matthew 27 Jesus died on the cross. It's a story that most of us have heard before. In today's sermon Kinnon unpacks the question of Why? "Jesus died for the forgiveness of our sin, so that we could experience relationship with Him, for the purpose of His own glory!" 

Rob Storey opens up Matthew 27.  In the story of Jesus and Barabbas we are confronted with a choice.  We can not remain neutral when it comes to Jesus.  We must make a choice 

In Matthew 26 Peter falls asleep while praying, attacks a man arresting Jesus, and denies he knows Jesus 3 times. All of this happens after he proclaims his fidelity and faithfulness to Jesus. Kinnon walks through Peter's "not my night" kinda night and gives us hope that because the crucifixion is not the end of Jesus story, Peter's denial isn't the end of his, and our sin...

In Matthew 26:1-16 we see two very different responses to Jesus. An outpouring of gratitude and a betrayal. This Sunday Chuck unpacks these responses and asks all of us too see Jesus as beautiful 

Beginning in Colossians 4:2-4 Chuck talks about how prayer helps us be WITH Jesus and LIKE Jesus. Prayer is more than a practice, it's an orientation. Prayer is a posture of dependance on God. 

Beginning in Luke 5, Kinnon walks through scripture and explains how spending time quiet and alone before God helps us be WITH Jesus and be LIKE Jesus. "Being alone and quiet before God not only helps us hear God's voice, but it gives space for those truths to sink deeply into our hearts." 

This week Chuck shows us how Fasting helps us be WITH Jesus and LIKE Jesus from Matthew 9:14-17. The reward of fasting is we get more of God! 

Starting with Colossians 3:16 - Kinnon discusses why we sing, why we gather, and why we sing when we gather. 

This week Chuck preaches through 1 Peter 4:8-11. Disciples of Jesus love earnestly, show hospitality, and serve one another. 

Kinnon and our City Groups Director Jordan open Exodus 20 to discuss how adhering to the Sabbath helps us be with Jesus and be like Jesus.

This week Chuck walks us through 2 Corinthians 9:6-11 and tells us how generosity helps us be with Jesus and be like Jesus. "We become generous when we see God as generous."

How does the Bible help us be WITH Jesus and be LIKE Jesus? Kinnon walks us through that question starting with 2 Timothy 3:16-17
