In his sermon on Mathew 13:24-43, guest PastorTom Remple walks through three important parables Jesus shares in the book of Matthew: the parable of the wheat and the weeds, and the parables of the mustard seed and the leaven. How does Jesus interpret these parables, and how does his use of parables fulfill Old Testament prophecy?

In this section of Matthew 13:1-23, Ricky walks through Jesus's famous parable of the sower and the different soils he spreads seed in. Ricky discusses the four different types of soil we can be, and asks us to prayerfully consider our hearts in their response towards the Word of God.

While that is basically true about all of our lives Alex shows us how Jesus's offer of rest found in God is different from our idea of rest. 

Ricky preaches from Matthew 11:1-24, and walks us through the doubts that John the Baptist had as he heard about Jesus from prison. While we aren't John the Baptist, most of us have asked that same question. Is Jesus the one? The answer...He is!

Pastor Alex walks us through Matthew 10:16-42. And shows us that Jesus is worthy of all worship, Jesus is worthy of all mission. The price of persecution, the cost of our comfort, the sacrifice we may make are nothing compared to the reward that we have in Jesus. He is worthy. 

Pastor Alex preaches to us from 1st Corinthians 15 and reminds us of the hope that we have through Jesus because of the Resurrection! Praise God the tomb is empty!!!

Pastor Ricky walks us through Matthew 9:35-10:4. In this passage we see that Jesus isn't just a solo act. He has called us all to participate in the work of His Kingdom! 

Wherein Alex walks us through the end of Matthew Chapter 9, and shows us that Jesus came for the desperate, the poor in spirit, and the broken! He came for all of us, and that is VERY. GOOD. NEWS. because we are all broken!

Ricky is continuing our series in Matthew; today Jesus breaks the categories of religion and what it means to worship God, both for those who are trying to find salvation in being good people and for those who feel they're too far off to be accepted by the Lord.

Brett, a guest pastor, continues our series in Matthew by showing us both the power and peace that Jesus holds in His hands. We'll walk through the end of Matthew 8 and the beginning of 9 where we'll beg the question "what kind of man is this?" and see how Jesus answers that very question for Himself.

David continues our series in Matthew by asking us the question: Are You In? The story of two disciples who want to follow Jesus, but have some reorienting to do as far as what that would look like. Jesus addresses them, and now he's still addressing us.

Elder, Jason Banks, continues our series in Matthew. We jump past the sermon on the mount (since we covered that just a few months ago) and pick up in some incredible stories of Jesus healing in ways that reveal His authority, and expose the world to what His Kingdom truly looks like.

It's not always about what is said, but who said it. In this passage we see that Jesus is beginning His kingdom movement by calling disciples to Himself with the authority of the King of the world! If He spoke that way then, He's still speaking with that authority to us today, how will we respond?

Alex opens to the very beginning of Jesus' public ministry according to Matthew. In this story, Jesus is baptized by John the Baptist and then something absolutely amazing happens, something that defines everything that will come next; something that defines us still today. Thanks for listening!

Ricky opens up Matthew 3 where John the Baptist steps on the scene to pave the way for Jesus' public ministry. John asks his audience to adjust their lives to the coming Messiah, and we have to ask ourselves if we're ready to adjust as well. Thanks for listening!

Alex continues our Core Values series by turning to Galatians 5, where the Holy Spirit is seen to be the One who transforms us and spiritually shapes us into the Image of Christ in response to what Jesus has done on the cross and in the resurrection.
