Pastor James introduced our new 10-week series on discipleship. Join us as we begin a new season and as we explore the serenity prayer in the first part of the series.

In our first service this year, Sue explored Jeremiah 6:16 and what it looks like to stand at the crossroads, look for God's word and walk in it. She encouraged us to consider how the word of God directs us and remain prayerful in the new year.

In our crossover service into 2026, Pastor Dave read Ezekiel 37. He shared some of the promises of God and how each of us can move through the hand of God in our lives.

Pastor David continues with our series reflecting on the Christmas story and the transforming miraculous power of Jesus.

This week we enjoyed our nativity service and received a message from Mark Greenwood. Mark reminds us that Jesus came to bring life and encourages us to consider the transforming life of Jesus (not just for the season). Mark has authored several books, including for this season: "Not Just For Christmas" which is available to purchase online.

As advent continues, Pastor James continued to explore the Christmas story with a look at the role that Joseph had.

Our guest speaker this week and Elim's Scotland and NW England Regional Leader, Reverend James Glass, spoke to us from Psalms 84.

This week, Ben shared some fundamental aspects of Christian life before the church enters into a new season.

At our baptism service, Cathy shared what it looks like to draw a line in the sand when God calls.

This week Pastor David shared reflections on how God shelters us in trials, and the lessons we can take from three biblical figures.

In the final part of the series, Pastor James considered how King David finished the latter part of his life. He looked at three lessons for us to consider: limping, learning and leaning on God's strength and grace.

Our visiting speaker from The Lighthouse Church, Pastor Reji, spoke about Jesus feeding the five thousand. He explored how God sees multitudes, including what we see as late He sees no problem and Jesus multiplying what we surrender.

In part 6 of the series, Pastor James considers how avoiding the hard things can cost more down the line. He reflects on God's grace as King David dealt with the consequences of decisions he avoided earlier in his life.

In part 5 of the series, Pastor James looked at how God shows his heart when we fall short. He reflected on three lessons: when God pursues, forgives and restores us.

In the third sermon in this series, Pastor James examined the testing that came after King David's victory. He looked at how we might be challenged to grow in testing seasons to prepare for plans that God has for us in the future.

Pastor James challenged us to consider the "Goliaths" in our lives. Things that feel impossible, overwhelming or hopeless and the importance of giving these battles to the Lord to work through.

Pastor James began a new 8-week series looking at the life of King David: a man after God's own heart. He considered how we'll explore the life of David's highs and lows, and the way we can become people that seek God's heart in different seasons.

This week explored the power of testimony. At Part 1, we considered what the Bible says about testimony in John 4. As the summer season drew to a close, Jane invited us to take a moment to reflect, rest in God's presence and receive his love as we enter into the new season.

Pastor Dave considered Mark 2:1-12. He looked at the power of persistence, the importance of a discerning spirit and the impact of God's presence.

Sue challenged us to consider how our spiritual heart health. She looked at the importance of spending time with God, prayer, discernment and how God wants to give us a new heart and spirit.

Pastor Dave shared a message looking at 1 Samuel 17. He discussed how God helps us bring down giants in our lives and those around us.

This week, Franklyn shared who we are in God's word according to Psalm 139.
