So much of what we consider joy today is not joy at all. It fades, is temporary and depends on our situation and our circumstances. Today, on the third week of Advent, we’ll learn how to have a joy that won’t stop no matter how bad or difficult things are in our lives.

At Christmas time we can easily think that everything is merry and bright. However, for so many people this time of year can remind us of loss we’ve experienced. People who we’ve loved who are not here with us today. That is why this time of year God wants to heal your broken heart, that is even the mission that Jesus came to do.

Peace seems hard to come by in our world today. We lack peace with ourselves, peace with others and even peace with God. This Advent season, what if we received the gift of peace from God today. Pastor Nithin will share a message from the Bible on how to find peace.

We all struggle with giving. It can be hard to give to others when we feel limited. Yet, there is great joy in living a lift of generosity. Come and learn how God can take your little and turn into into a lot.

You’ve been created by God as a Masterpiece! He has plans for your life to prosper you! And he’s made you feel alive when you do the things that He’s made you to do! When you serve other people, you become more like Jesus and help people find hope and healing.

Forgiveness is probably one of the most difficult things for us to do. We’d rather fight back or retaliate. Forgiveness seems weak and ineffective. However if we learn to forgive well, we have the ability move forward with our lives and not get stuck in the past with bitterness and angst. Choose to forgive today!

We live in a distracted world. There are so many things that pull us away from our most important priorities. One of which is being with Jesus. When we prioritize being with God it will lead to a life that is full of focus. A life of spiritual focus will help us make sure we fulfill the destiny God has for our lives.

So much of our world craves community. We want to be with people that will love us unconditionally and accept us. At City Alliance Church we’re starting a 40 day study on the words of Jesus to help us get into Jesus centered community so that we can grow in the words of Jesus and not on the fake stuff all arounds us.
