I was away for a couple of weeks, so it's nice to be back! Lots of new stuff: Adrian Teacher, Supermoon, Un Blonde, Brave Radar, Julie Ruin & Jenny Hval!

Adrian & co are back! Lots of great new music: Weird Lines, Maneater, Softess, PLAZAS. Incredible. Also, I didn't play it here, but Beyoncé's Lemonade is a phenomenal album. In a world without CRTC regulations, you would've heard some of that.

New songs by Jay Arner & Bill Callahan, and congrats to Darren & Bailey on their surprise nuptials.

Nooooooooooooooooooo! Some Prince & a whole lotta CanCon.

The Railway's slow decline came to a precipitous drop this week as it shut it doors forever. Too bad. Lots of memories there. I'll miss it. CiTR interns Megan & Keaton sat in and both picked a song. They have good taste. Plenty of great live music this weekend. Go see a show!

Jian Ghomeshi was found not guilty in his sexual assault trial today, and that is hugely disappointing and damaging. Other than that, I debuted some new Jay Arner and Frankie Cosmos and hyped some weekend shows. What else is new?

Exciting news: CiTR & Mint have once again teamed up to put out the Pop Alliance Volume 4! Hittin' the streets on February 26th. Also premiered some new Nicholas Krgovich and promoted the s**t out of Winter Waste, happening this Saturday at the Astoria.

MOOD RING is a great new-ish comp by Ottawa's Debaser, check it out. Also previewed a bunch of great shows happening this weekend.

Thom & Akanee of local happenin' band Milk came by to chat about their new EP "Late Bloomer" and the release party for the tape, happening this Friday. Also, a little tribute to David Bowie. R.I.P. to one of the world's great weirdos.
