For today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony I've pulled out the CAO Flathead V660 Carb which is a full-flavored box pressed cigar with a striking flat top. It features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and a blend that’s heavy on Nicaraguan leaf.

Today I've chosen the Trump 2020 Victory Cigar from Ted's Cigars to honor Donald J. Trump's 4 years in office as the greatest President since George Washington. The MAGA movement isn't ending but just beginning.

For my final International Cigar Lightation Ceremony of the Donald J. Trump administration I've selected the Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro which features an 8-year-old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper that's been bourbon barrel-aged for an additional 14-months. This medium-to-full bodied smoke has notes of semi-sweet chocolate and espresso on the finish.

Today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony is being conducted with a heavy heart in honor of longtime friend and owner of the Humidor Store, Jim Blanton, who passed away on Sunday night. To honor him I've chosen the Tennessee Waltz from Crowned Heads, a medium-to-full bodied cigar with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with Nicaraguan tobaccos for the filler and binder.

Today I've pulled out the Camacho Distillery Edition Connecticut for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony as we remember a moment from last year's National Championship game when Joe Burrow lit up a cigar in the Superdome. The Camacho Distillery Connecticut tobaccos are aged in bourbon barrel for 6 months including the beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.

I am enjoying the Partagas Classic for today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This exquisite cigar has a beautiful Cameroon wrapper, Mexican binder and Dominican and Mexican fillers for a smoke that is rich with spicy notes.

For today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony I found a terrific boutique cigar manufacturer with the Mombacho Tierra Volcan. This mild-to-medium bodied Nicaraguan puro is full of sweet flavor but not overwhelming.

To kick of the New Year I've chosen the Avo XO for today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This medium-bodied cigar features tobaccos aged for at least 6 years including an Ecuadorian wrapper and Dominican binder and filler. 

To wrap up 2020 I've pulled out the Sindicato Particulares for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This Cubanesque cigar was featured in the December 2020 Cigar Dave Officers Club and features a beautiful Shade Grown Corojo Jalapa wrapper and tobaccos from Nicaragua. I've paired it with the Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve champagne.

For Christmas Eve I've chosen the Sindicato Affinity for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony. This medium-bodied cigar has a Connecticut seed wrapper grown in Ecuador blended with aged Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos for a rich, flavorful, and complex taste profile.

Today's selection for the International Cigar Lightation Ceremony is the Alec Bradley Project 40 Maduro. This cigar is named for a scientific concept relating to how outside influences positively affect one's well-being. It's a medium-plus bodied cigars that features a lush Maduro wrapper from San Andreas, Brazilian Habano binder and all Nicaraguan filler.

For the 8th and final night of the Festival of Lightation I've pulled out a beautiful premium cigar, the Davidoff 702 Series Double R. This cigar features a proprietary 702 Habano Ecuadorian wrapper that beautifully balances leather and pepper notes into a spicier taste experience.

I've picked the Crowned Heads Four Kicks for Night 7 of the Festival of Lightation. This medium-bodied boutique cigar was created with Ernesto Perez-Carrillo and uses an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and Nicaragua filler tobaccos which burst with notes of richness and complexity.

For Night 6 of the Festival of Lightation I've pulled out the Macanudo Inspirado White which features a golden Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper, aged for 6 years, Indonesian binder and Nicaraguan Estelí and Mexican San Andrés filler aged for four years. This mild-to-medium bodied cigar is full of notes of earth and spice.

I've selected the Rocky Patel Quarter Century for Night 5 of the Festival of Lightation. This cigar features a San Andrés wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos that are aged 2 years after rolling and 10 years before to celebrate Rocky's 25 years in the cigar industry.

Night 4 of the Festival of Lightation features the Avo Classic Maduro No. 2. This cigar features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that is aged 3 years delivering a rich and smooth flavor.

For the Festival of Lightation Night 3 I've chosen the Plasencia Cosecha 146 which marks the 146th harvest of the family’s inaugural tobacco crop of 1865. This cigar is a medium-bodied, full-flavored cigar with a complex and sweet taste thanks to its wrapper from the Jamastran valley.

For night 2 of the 2020 Cigar Dave Festival of Lightation I've selected the Gurkha Cellar Reserve 15 Year which uses 15-year-old aged tobacco, comprised of an oily Criollo 1998 wrapper combined with an aged Dominican, olor binder and a 15-year old Dominican Filler.

For the first night of the 2020 Cigar Dave Festival Of Lightation the General is lightning up the Alec Bradley MAXX. This large cigar uses tobaccos from 5 different countries for a smoke that is balanced, sweet and complex.

Today's International Cigar Lightation Ceremony features the Alec Bradley Prensado which pays homage to the Cuban traditions of cigar making rolling the filler ‘entuba-do,’ triple capping the head and box pressing the finished cigar. This medium to full bodied smoke was featured in the November Officers Club selection.

My selection for today’s International LIghtation Ceremony is the Davidoff Winston Churchill Late Hour with tobaccos aged for six months in finest Scotch single malt whisky casks. This cigar is covered with a shiny and oily Habano Ecuadorian wrapper in a beautiful dark chocolate color.
