Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: The Olympic Games began last week with quite the fanfare in France. To the shock and horror of many across the world, they seemed hell bent on making fun of Christianity at every turn. While I should not be surprised at the nation that literally invented the Left, with ideas of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, still, I am disappointed and shoc...

400 episodes. In a way I cannot believe that.  THANK YOU! I started this podcast because I was looking around and seeing that the world was going crazy and I read my Bible and other theology books a lot. So, I started having conversations with friends and they kept asking more questions about more current events, so I said, hey, would you listen if I turned these conversations into a podcast, and...

Today in Current Events from a Christian Perspective: We actually look back in time and then back to the present.  In the city of Corinth, sometime during the early church a Christian cut the face off a statue of a Roman Goddess and carved a cross in it's place. While this may seem wrong or inappropriate, to literally de-face a statue, the implication is actually profound and has incredible s...

This is currently a HOT topic on the interwebs and the socials. And it seems like something I should talk about since it is combining church and culture. If you have heard about this, you know that there is much drama unfolding on the s...
