We want every story to have a great ending, and it's no different with the book of Revelation. Luckily, the ending doesn't disappoint. God's plan was always to dwell with His people - the end of the story is that He will. We usually don't want to know the end of the story. In Revelation, John spoils the end; but because we know the ending, we can live in the hope of what's to come. There may be no other book in the Bible as compelling yet equally mysterious as the book of Revelation. So, how should we approach a book like this? It's important to look at the book both as a prophecy and as a letter. The Church is missing something significant when we don't read Revelation; it's a story that reframes our perspective, strengthens our resolve, and calls us to worship.

Prayer doesn't make us righteous; however, the lives of the righteous are saturated in prayer. The wicked do not turn toward Christ, but the righteous repent daily. So we should pray with bold humility and depend on the Father in everything.

Proverbs 31 isn't a weight to carry around or an impossible checklist to measure up to. Instead, it's a mirror to check ourselves against standards of biblical wisdom. We can become Proverbs 31 believers because Jesus is a Proverbs 31 Savior. The question is, are you allowing godly wisdom to be productive and guide your life?

There is an epidemic of loneliness, so we should intentionally pursue Christ-centered friendships. Biblical friendship begins in fellowship with other believers. Through devotion, trust, time, and care, godly friendships help sanctify us. Real friends will push you to live more like Christ.  

We all have something to give because generosity isn't just about finances. It's good to be put in positions to give what we have to others. Obedient generosity displays the Father's love; however, to be a good giver, we must be connected to the great giver. We should pray, "Father, show me the way to be a good giver today."
