POWER cuts across many stewardships. If we seek power or influence ahead of the right procedure and timing for gaining it, the strategies we use to get it can bring us down.

SEX is a gift from God to be celebrated. We must be careful to keep sex inside God’s boundaries because violating them directly impacts our family life both present and future.

Money is a stewardship that impacts many areas of our lives. God wants us to use it for His purposes and enjoy it. Its purpose is provide for our needs and the needs of our family. It is also meant to be used to help others, to buy wisdom and bring enjoyment.

What’s the key to hanging in there with God for a lifetime? With so many who bail and check out from following Christ, what can we do remain “Convinced” until our last breath? Faith is the key—both trusting in Him and fearing Him to remain loyal no matter the cost.

The goal of this message is to show how the Bible is a guide and how specific convictions help you make real progress as you walk with Holy Spirit. Maturity means living out of what is true and continuing to learn over a lifetime.

Becoming convinced of the right things means you have to know God and continually walk with Him over time no matter what you face. Walking with God is a learning experience and it’s something you have to fight for and devote time to. It’s not a formula but a relationship with the living God.

We are all convinced people. Everyone lives their life based on the things of which they have become convinced. Everyone, also, has real outcomes that result from the way they choose to live their life.

The beginning of the year is a time that many people set goals. If we choose not based on comparison or competition, but on the right people to imitate, we will be able to consider the outcome of their way of life.

At the end of each year we naturally take a look back at what we have accomplished. As we take time to look back we need to continually choose contentment versus comparison. This sermon is by Randy from the Diamond Bar Campus, we had some difficulties with the recorder in Alhambra.

The God who came to earth, established a pattern of moving towards people, and he invites us to join in his plan of redemption in practical ways.

The world views “stepping down” (being forced or pressured) as a failure, but humility is the path that pleases God and fulfills His purposes.

As opposed to turning or running away from our muddy and messy world, Jesus stepped in…. How can I step in? Rather than…moving away from problems, to comfort. God himself became personally involved in our situation in Jesus

Webster describes Esprit De Corps as “feelings of loyalty, enthusiasm, and devotion to a group among people who are members of the group.” Our Esprit De Corp helps define the kind of team we will be and makes teaming up together worthwhile and effective over the long-haul.

The personal and project values direct how we approach life and work, as we work toward the mission in our personal lives and church life. Specifically…Project values direct how we approach our work together. Personal values tell how we should approach the challenges of life.

Treating each other a certain way is crucial to accomplishing the mission. When we love another—people will know we are His disciples.

In this message the goal is to walk through the mission we have been given… OUR MISSION: To know, love and glorify God and be used by Him to help unchurched people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ and to help create churches and other ministries that do the same. In short—To Love God and Love Others.

The fact that death is the destiny of every man brings the meaning of life into focus. Evaluating the ultimate outcome of all of our pursuits and efforts to find meaning without God help us to draw the right conclusion and give ourselves to the things that really matter.

My religious habits themselves and what I do for God will bring meaning to my life. It’s a trap to start promising God that I will do something for Him to attempt to change His mind about what is best for me.

To power up on others does not bring satisfaction and leaves a person empty. Money seems to be the answer to solving my problems and allowing me to live the life I want, but it leaves us empty as well. Riches do not create the kind of life we really want.

Our work can easily become our world and dictate the shape of the other areas of our life. Solomon shows us why this is not true and also why it’s important to enjoy your work.

When we’re doing what we have to do (fulfilling my responsibilities), we often think: “If I could only do what my heart desires I would be happy.” Solomon testifies to the reality that fulfilling my desires is not the path to ultimate happiness.

We’re uncomfortable with uncertainty and facing problems and decisions where we can’t get our mind and heart around all the issues. We tend to look for the latest discovery that will help us live a great life and unlock the keys to life so we never again have to deal with pain and uncertainty.

At one point, Solomon turned away from God and things didn’t end well. He is asking and trying to answer the question “WHAT IS THE POINT OF LIVING?" And he tries to find meaning (the “point” of living) without God.

A biblical perspective on death and suffering.

If you like to run with the crowd, kingdom living will challenge that desire. If you decide to follow Christ, don’t expect to run with the crowd. A decision to follow Christ is a decision to go against the crowd. Our lives are filled with decisions, some important while others unimportant.
