Kairos is the greek work for time as a season of opportunity, the time for action.

Unity is rare, but if we can be unified and work well together, the church is unstoppable.

Most of our prayers are tied to requests for us or for those we love. What if we began to pray more about what we could do for God?

In prayer, we often make two big mistakes...our prayers are too small, or our prayers are too general. What if our prayer was strengthened with God’s power?

We are to live lives of brokenness where we are fully dependent on God. We’d much rather keep it all together so that we can look impressive, but you can help and connect with people through your weaknesses.

A dangerous prayer takes courage to pray it, because when you pray it, He’ll show you some things about yourself that you’re not real proud of, but he provides grace and mercy to help us move forward in a new way.

Though there are many positive things about Social Media, but if we’re not careful, the heavy intake of this form of media and relating can breed discontentment, comparison and begin to drive a wedge in our relationships.

We all want a good reputation and to have a positive influence on those around us…but what we find in Scripture is that our reputation and our circle of influence is protected and assigned to us by God Himself.

Encouragement to keep taking steps of faith to grow and seek the Lord—even into new territory and out of comfort zones. By faith we can go and do what God asks of us—but by fear we shrink back.

There are many times in life when we need to stay and endure what we’re facing in life—especially when it would be easier to go. Trusting God under pressure would enrichen the story God wants to tell through us.

For us to live the new story that a new life with Jesus brings—we have to recognize choices we make that create real obstacles for us, and also to stop certain ways of thinking and patterns that keep derailing our progress in life.

Jesus is the Author of our faith and rewrites our life story as we trust in Him.

We will look at how we can THRIVE in the opportunities God brings this year.

If we identify with Christ, we may suffer for it, but our response is an opportunity to share our faith and apply it at the same time.

My number one concern in the way I relate to authority is God’s reputation. If I stay under the umbrella of authority by obeying government (unless opposed to God’s law) and at work, I do well and God’s purpose is accomplished.

As we come to Christ, we are being built into a spiritual house. This changes the entire purpose and focus of my life – taking it off of me and aiming to please God by the way I live

The truth of my identity in Christ should prepare my mind for action, to respond to the challenges to my faith that arise in this life.

Peter gives the church members a new way of viewing themselves, they are “elect exiles." This understanding of our identity in Christ is crucial for handling any pressure and persecution we experience and continue to move forward to fulfill God’s purpose in the different arenas of life.
