Compassion for the nations, even those we might consider our enemies, should be a higher priority to us than our own comforts or prejudices.

Sacred-secular splits.... We all seem to have this kind of compartmentalization, but should we? The gospel is not just for the so-called sacred, but is designed to transform all of life; indeed, it is to transform all of life into a life of grateful worship.

Being clean is nice, but not very helpful if you are forced to put back on your new clothes. Thankfully, through the work of the Spirit, we are not called to this.

You are what you eat. While this certainly does not disavow us of reading or watching certain things, it certainly should lead us to great intentionality in how we pursue Jesus Christ and an increased knowledge of him.

Certainly you could be inclined to throw them away from you and destroy them! This too is what we are supposed to do with our sins.
