The Lord is teaching me in this season about the relationship between working with your hands and trusting God. There is work that we need to do to prepare, perform and promote but there is also a knowing that God is in the midst of all that and you are not alone. Work hard and leave the rest to God.

Fitness enthusiast reconsider your idea of fitness. It is not about what you can do in the gym, it is how you live your life. Are you healthy, strong, vibrant, full of energy, ready and available to conquer the things of God or are you broken down in a constant state of recovery? If it is an idol, give it over to God.

Do you have a friend? So many people are alone for many different reasons. You may have felt rejected, or been harmed? The devil may have caused you to isolate, or God has asked you to remove people. Know you are never alone. Let God be your companion and cling to Him with everything you have.

About me. About you. I am a retired military construction worker of 20 years. I have a master’s degree from fuller theological seminary. I have run two marathons. I have traveled the world and done much more. God allowed me to exhaust life so He could have it and now I available as God leads to serve you.

God desires you to progress. He doesn’t want you to remain where you are. He wants you to move on to the next stage of elevation in who He has called you to become and what He desires you to do. Have you gotten comfortable where God has you? Have you lost your curiosity for the more in and with God?

Moses felt inadequate to be used in God’s grand plan to free His people from slavery. This did not change God’s mind. God worked with Moses to free His people and stayed with Moses leading and guiding along the way. It was never about Moses’ capability but Gods. Trust not just in yourself but God.

The importance of the step. God deals with people in steps. He wants you to take the step you know to take, then He will reveal the next one. Intimacy, purpose, identity, relationship, finances are all interrelated and will bloom over time. His steps are not out of order but by His order. Trust them.

What are your excuses? Is it that you don’t have time, money, know-how? Ask yourself if you really want to serve God; if you really want His will to be done? If so, you’ll find a way. 2 a.m. are for those seeking, disciplined and determined for what they want. Desire. Decide. Commit. Pursue. Make a way.

Stop carrying weight that doesn’t belong to you. Some of you are in relationships that don’t serve you. You are in roles you gave to yourself that are not required. You engage in activities that are unnecessary. Know these things are hindering you from progress in and w/God. Let them go. Go after God relentlessly.

After being saved, I was always frustrated, angry, in a rush, irritable. I tried therapy, medication, self-help books, being nice, more patient, prayer, bible reading. Nothing worked but surrender. God had to do a deep work in me to help me work through thought patterns, spiritual warfare, trauma self-worth and deliverance.

I believe the church is changing. The four walls will no longer stand. The old will fall away. I believe that God is birthing a new church online and in homes. He will teach people how to know Him intimately and seek Him, give room to explore spiritual giftings and build new churches based on the great commission not programs.

How do you measure success? Regardless of what time you rise or fall, are you living for God? If you are not living according to the will of the creator, what are you living for? See, success is measured by your obedience to God not by worldly markers of materials, money, status, power, vanity. That is living for Satan.

God talks-Help in interactions with others.  I asked the Lord for help as my tolerance to receive others as they are have diminished. I want people to conform and serve me. I have become self-absorbed in convos. God says this is self-worship and control-Satan; to use the magnitude of His energy and presence in me to love or it will be used for wickedness.

You want to follow God but don’t hear His voice? Seek God with everything you have. Seek Him early and then all day. Do what you know you need to do now. Continue to seek Him diligently determining what you want from Him building your hunger and thirst. He will meet you there and your communication and relationship will evolve.

God talks – Commitment in the dark I recently went through a challenging time. God showed me that through it He wanted to see what I would do in the dark. Would I give up, turn back or still strive to get to Him? I did it all for a short time then leaned into God with all I had. I ended up right where He wanted me-chasing the light.
