Telling life stories captures students’ attention, builds relationships, and allows one to pass on important life and spiritual lessons. Join us to hear some of my stories and a little about why I tell them.

A favorite Bible story is seen in William Brassey Hole’s painting “Jesus Walking upon the Sea.” This session outlines Leadership Lifestories and how you can organize and share powerful stories in the classroom and in your life that point people towards Christ.

Step right up. Step right up. You don't have to be a magician to make your classroom a more magical and engaging place. You too can integrate low-cost or free puzzles, jokes, riddles, mysteries, games, and even magic tricks to bring learning to life.

“How Many?” is a number sense routine where a collection of objects such as dice or dominoes is shown and students are prompted to determine “How Many?” in as many different ways as possible. This session will explore teaching techniques for using this routine to increase fluency with elementary students. Handout
