Since Christianity affirms the humanity of preborn children, and that abortion is the murder of preborn children, why is it still legal in America? Sharing the gospel and making Jesus known must be top priority to those of us who claim the name of Christ, but should we not aim to end one of the greatest human miseries and moral evils ever to be entrenched in our world? Today's guest believes human...

In the Bible in the book of Acts, early church members gathered together amid threats of persecution and prayed to the Lord for the strength and perseverance to continue in Christ and spread His word. God answered their prayer: “After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly” (Acts 4:31). God rocked th...

Mature Christians may have a hard time believing what many Christians are falling for these days and what some churches are promoting. Falling for new fads and following after the world are problems that need to be addressed. What are we talking about? A basic lack of discernment and understanding of God's Word for starters. Today, we address Horoscopes, goat yoga, 'Christian witches,' the enneagr...

Millennials. It seems the very mention of the word draws equally passionate and polarized responses from people of all ages. Are Millennials really the narcissistic, self-centered, entitled, and lazy collective that they are accused of being, or is there a deeper problem lurking which creates division between this generation and those previous? The post Allie Anderson: Millennials Most ‘Conn...

There is nothing new under the sun, and false teachings and unbiblical movements have been around since the founding of the  Christian church. We are warned in Scripture over and over to watch out for false teachers, but today’s church has been infected with them. Too many believers have accepted unbiblical ideas because on the surface they might sound good, but they leave you deceived and empty....

Much of what we see happening in America today is a result of the government's legislation, policies, taxation, and the carrying out of laws and regulations. Biblical values matter - even among elected representatives. We must be reminded that someone's morality will be legislated across the land, and will affect a majority of people. But a government "of the people" is supposed to serve its citiz...

God forewarned us in the Bible. We’re now seeing Romans 1 and 2 Timothy 3 being played out in America and the world today. Evil is being called good and many are falling for deception and delusions. The reprobate mind contrasts the mind of Christ, and there is a war on the truth of Christ, on His word, and on His creation. One of those battles heating up in our culture is over sex and gender ident...

Dr. Ben Carson once stated, "I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation... I do not believe Sharia Law is consistent with the Constitution of this country." Muslims have been elected to the U.S. Congress as well as local offices across the country, and the most recent Muslims elected have been sworn in by placing their hand on a Qu'ran rather then the Bible. Is that a probl...

“A firefighter rescuing people from a burning building may be fearful and prefer to be home with his family, but he ignores his fears and denies himself. Like him, our thoughts are not on ourselves but on the fate of the perishing.” Evangelist, Ray Comfort, Living Waters Ministry Today's topic is evangelism, sharing our faith, and the gospel. We discuss reasons to share the gospel as well as why m...

We are bombarded with sexual ideas and images. The world would have us believe any kind of sexual gratification is normal and healthy. Satan would have us believe the lie that we deserve to be happy - which includes acting on any form of sexual expression to fulfill our lustful desires. From Hollywood and the media to Television and the Internet, we can't get away from the assault of sexual imager...

Being a committed disciple of Jesus Christ often leads to discrimination or ridicule here in the states, but in many other nations, Christians are beaten, imprisoned; some are tortured, and many are killed. In spite of this, their churches are growing. How do we explain this? The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church. Outside America, Christianity is increasing and the gospel is being pre...

Cults, deceptions, satanism, and the supernatural. Where do we start? How about in the Christian church? We are warned to come out from among them and be separate. Most of us would admit that the increasing spiritual darkness today goes hand in hand with the landslide of immorality and rebellion against God. Interest in demons, the occult, witchcraft, and the paranormal have never been so high. We...

There's an old saying, "politics makes strange bedfellows," but these days professing Christianity, government, and worldliness also seem to be aligning more often, developing very strange partnerships.  We've seen so-called "Celebrity pastors" often embrace Hollywood stars or elite sports celebrities who claim to be Christians, but they often do so without a modicum of discernment or wisdom, caus...

Vibrant, bible teaching churches are needed more than ever but are so very hard to come by. We need wisdom, biblical knowledge and understanding of God. We also need to show our nation the dangerous path we are on as a nation and people.  But many churches seem intent on conforming to the ways of this world instead of transforming lives by the power of God's Word.  At a time when we need clear bib...

The post What Will the Chu...

Our nation is seeing an infusion of radical progressive thought threatening the very foundation and future of our nation.  The Church in America is also witnessing a surge in hyper-liberalism leading many to question the fundamental and traditional teachings of the Apostles and early Church.  Is Progressive Christianity to be considered a part of Biblical Christianity or does it contradict Scriptu...
