There is much intentional confusion regarding New Testament prophecy. Every Spirit-filled believer is to prophesy according to the measure of faith. The prophetic gift is a spiritual tool for edification and evangelism. Prophecy empowers those who receive it by faith to edify believers and reveal Christ to the lost.

We are experiencing an awakening and many church people are missing it, but that's not God's desire for them. We must reject the religious spirit of bondage and live in the truth of Jesus Christ.

Many churchgoers have yet to fully experience the profound reality that comes through a genuine connection with Jesus Christ. It's imperative that we commit ourselves to constantly being filled with the Holy Spirit and actively sharing Christ's love and life wherever we go.

When we follow love and desire the gifts of the Spirit, giving priority to prophecy as instructed in 1st Corinthians chapter 14, evangelism is the natural product.  There is a right and a wrong way to use prophecy. When done correctly, it serves as a ministry to unbelievers and builds up the body of Jesus Christ.

A proper understanding of repentance and righteousness ushers one into the supernatural. Repentance is changing one's mind. In regards to salvation, it ultimately means changing your mind about righteousness.  Christians are made righteous by the righteousness of Christ, which is provided by grace and received by faith.
