As we continue our advent series, we looked at how Jesus came as a King with a Kingdom.

This week we started our Christmas Series: Rescue. For many, this is the time of year for Santa, gifts, lights, and the birth of Jesus. Many hear Jesus and a picture of a nativity pops in their mind. We see a cute baby in a manger with farm animals surrounded by shepherds, wisemen, and angels. Is that all Christmas is about? But who is Jesus and why is His birth so important? We spent today unpacking one of the most famous Psalms in the world...Psalms 23. While most often quoted at funerals, we saw that King David's words are very much for the living as we are challenged to trust the good Good Shepherd more.
