The “world” dangles attractive things before us. It pressures us to think, act, and conform to its values. It promises the world at our fingertips. But does it deliver? Is there a more satisfying and God-honoring way of life? Come, let’s draw wisdom from God’s word today!

God’s wrath and justice - not soft-sounding words to our ears. Not words or verses we put on our coffee cups or our mantles. But, these attributes of God are deeply rooted in His character & actions. Let’s understand how God’s justice & wrath inform how we think about God’s plans, our worship & our witness.

We learned last week how Satan deceives the world. We also saw a call for the saints to endure, have faith, and be wise. What hope do we have to motivate such a response? Let’s dive into Revelation 14 & be encouraged by God’s eternal gospel that provides hope for today & tomorrow!

“Imitation is the highest form of flattery.” Ever heard that? While that may be true, imitation can also be the highest form of deception. This morning we see the devastating consequences of Satan’s cheap imitations & deceptions. Let’s gain wisdom from God’s word so we might not be deceived by the evil one!

As we resume our study on the Book of Revelation, we will take a step back and ask important questions about why a book like Revelation is important, what we have learned so far in our study, and what do we do with it.

Are you a worrywart? Do the troubles of life paralyze your ability to live as God intended? What might Jesus say about worry and what we should do with it? How might Jesus’ instruction on worry differ from that of your therapist? Let’s see what Jesus says about our anxieties. Much to learn from God’s Word today!

What do you treasure? Whatever you treasure will determine what you spend your time and resources pursuing. Jesus had some thoughts for his disciples about the dangers of chasing things that don’t last. Come, let’s learn from Jesus’ teachings what we should spend our lives chasing and not chasing!
