He interrupts your bad ways of thinking and your unhealthy relationships. He interrupts to put you on a new path… a path of joy, of relationships, of supernatural connection with him.

You can’t do it. No morality is strong enough to break the back of death. Only Jesus is. Only Jesus takes the broken pieces of our dead bodies and our dead morality and breathes his life into us – giving us a new body and a new soul.

This world is not the way it was meant to be. God did not design us for wars. He did not design us for sneaking around and telling lies. He didn’t design us for abuse. For betrayal. For selling little girls into slavery to do unspeakable things. He didn’t design us for disease either.

Hope is the confident expectation of God making good on his promises.

Peace is not based on coping mechanisms, or happy circumstances, it is found in Jesus.
