We get into the rest of Genesis 3 today, finishing up our discussion of the fall and its consequences.

Lots to cover in Genesis 3, so we only talk through the opening 7 verses today.

Family distinctions. Family dynamics. Obedience. Exposure. Dependence. Relationships. Responsibilities. Family friendships. (John 15.10-19) Confront your personal ecclesiology. Observe our family dynamic and your relationships. Accept your exposure, dependence and responsibility. Pursue the will of the Father, with Jesus your brother.

We explore the opening verses of chapter 2 and what they say about creation, resting, and God, before zooming in on God's good creation of man and woman in the remainder of chapter 2.

A people of consumed, enraptured doxology. A people of responsive, reasonable worship. A people with transformed, discerning minds. Now. Passionately. Urgently.

We jump into Genesis and talk through quite a breadth of foundational teachings.

What would Jesus say to this generation? A profound sign. A compiled judgment. An invasive problem. What is Jesus saying to us (the Church) in this generation? A radical mercy. An eternal wisdom. A Christ filled, hope filled, peace-filled, restFULL people.

We're back after a break over the summer months. We catch up, sharing about Jim's sabbatical and AJ's preaching. Then we jump into some initial thoughts on the OT narrative book that we'll launch into next week...

We finish up 2 Samuel today as we look at the Lord's anger, enticement, and plague, as well as David's sin, repentance, and offerings.
