This message deals with the condition of the fallen man, his symptoms, and his opportunity. Some believe and others do not.

When God rewrites your story, he puts his pen to the paper of your life right where you are, and with one stroke at a time, changes the very testimony that comes out of other's mouths concerning you.

(Luke 1:45) "And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord." Not maybe, not might, not hope so, but "THERE SHALL BE!" This message is for the trusting heart, the expectant heart, the weary heart, and the burdened heart. Blessed are you that believe, for there shall be... Mark it down, it will happen; for the glory of the Lord!

This declaration is foundational as well as revelatory in the life of the Christian. Although our strength does come from the Lord, it is deeper than that, more intimate than that. He (his person, his presence) himself IS our strength. Knowing He is in us, with us, and for us, who or what could ever stand in our way. That is why we are conquerors through him that loved us.

As we draw our attention to Mount Calvary where our savior died, we notice that he did not suffer or die alone. On each side of him were thieves who were minutes away from eternity, one to be spent with God and the other in judgement. As we watch it unfold, we realize that their story is our story, and this is how Jesus saves people.

Our adversary (the devil) is real. He is active, strategic, and ruthless. But we as believers have all power through the spirit of Christ. God's word teaches us on where to stand, how to stand, and how to overcome all of his tactics and strategies he uses against us. Victory is ours if we surrender fully and obey completely.

For fathers to be effective, we have to first realize our place as sons of God.

In our suffering, God offers both perspective and comfort.

Jesus Christ is the foundation for our faith.

When you hear the phrase "spiritual power" most of us think of giftings, boldness, supernatural manifestations, etc. And although that is true, that is not the entire scope of what spiritual power is. God will bring us through times where he asks us to do things that may be uncomfortable, but it's always worth it.

God's cure for sin comes from him. It is simple, undeserved, filled with grace, and accessible. But only to the one who will humble himself and come God'sway. This cure is powerful, instantaneous, and sufficient. His blood covers all our sin.

The question is not did Jesus live, but does he live today. Not did he walk the earth 2000 years ago, but does he walk mine today. The idea of this message is that Christ is STILL the same yesterday, today, and forever.

God's word is very clear that we are to forgive others. That we are to forgive them repeatedly. We are to forgive them from our heart. We are to forgive them completely. And if we choose not to, then there is nothing for us to look forward to except our trespasses being brought up against us till we pay the full amount.

Very few things are more powerful than our words. We either give life by them or produce death; there is no in between. This message shows us how to uproot and reject those things said to us, about us and left unsaid...and find healing in the word of God.

Abraham was called the friend of God, but it takes more than affection and familiarity to be God's friend. Abraham's life was a series of God asking things of him and God doing things for him. His surrender to these things made him God's friend.
