When Jesus declared from the cross "It is finished", it was an absolute term. His work was complete, accomplished, discharged, paid, performed, and fully executed! This revelation changes everything in how we live, how we rest, and the expectation of this life and the one to come.

As Jesus was teaching to a large crowd, 4 men came carrying a man who was paralyzed on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he spoke grace and healing to the man. People left saying that they had seen things that were contrary to what was expected. It is true that God loves us like we are, but like we are should include Humility, Reverence, Cleanliness, Vulnerability, and Expectation.

As believers, we should be way more concerned with God's favor than we are his blessings; for everyone that receives blessings may not have his favor, but everyone that has his favor receives all blessings. It is a matter of our position, diligence, and humility.

As Christians, it is easy to struggle in discerning what is the will of God. How will we know it, and what is our responsibility in finding it. Ruth teaches us that it is not something you find, it is something that finds you.

In every life, until you die, there is a next chapter. To make it to the next chapter in the natural, all you have to do is survive. To make it to the next chapter in the spiritual, there is much required of you. But most importantly to believe that it exists, and set your face like flint to get there.

This message deals with the common and destructive nature of bitterness. Naomi's loss was so great and her pain so intense that she let bitterness creep in and eventually it took over. But one choice changed it al for her, she turned toward the revealed will of God. That direction eventually landed her in the place where God could and would heal her.
