What a special night this was! Nearly 90 tracks in 4 1/2 hours!

Made this special recording in studio for my road trip in the morning. This will bring me right into sunrise traveling from Dallas to Breckenridge via Taos.

This was a fun set and to be honest, I was a little nervous about it. I spent the weeks before the Danny Tenaglia show archiving all these old records (1989-2001) into my hard drive as I wanted to support Danny Tenaglia with music from that peak era when he was cranking out tunes on Twisted Records. This was an unexpectedly wild night- at capacity from 9:15 onward so I had to abandon my build up and weaving playlist I had in my mind and just provide 4 hours of dance floor fodder all off script. Recording might be dodgy too as I was caning the mixer deep into the yellows much of the night.

Wonderful night playing first 6 hours solo and the final couple hours back to back with Frank before the police showed up and we had to briefly but abruptly cut the music. Cheers!

Changing it up from my last month's set of groovy, deep, and disco I want with some old school ragers from the glory days of early tech house an electro (think lots of 2005-2012 choons!)so the set is a little more uneven and less cohesive but was a fun throwback set to play this past weekend!

Frankie and I were doing a back to back at a pool this Labor Day but the crowd wasn't really our vibe so when we got back to my home, we decided to reproduce the exact mix we made (the first hour) but more relaxed so we weren't trying to cram in 15 tracks in 60 minutes. We then just extended and freely chose tracks in 2s and 3s and played a full 3 hour set together. So her is our results. Enjoy!
