Hello friends, I began dipping my toe into DJing in the mid 90s. Dissatisfied with the endless loop of the 7-10 songs on pop radio cracking out of the speakers in the salon I was working, I decided to try and bring my own music collection to the shop. I was an avid (possibly obsessive) collector of lounge, electronic, ambient and dance type music. Im embarrassed to say what I must have spent in those days at Oak Lawn Records, Tower, and Virgin - may they all rest in peace - but it also began time to get some equipment.
