The Shams BandBack in February Donnie Biggins and the boys joined us for an afternoon of killer music and tons of laughs. Little did we know then how we would all become part of the Chicago Roots Collective now.

Band Called CatchOne fine March evening this excellent band joined us for an evening of music and many laughs. It was a total blast! Between then and now the Chicago Roots Collective was formed to promote Chicagoand#39;s original music performers and as it turns out the audience for this show, Goodbyehome is also a part of the Collective "Resistance is Futile"

Andy B. Whiteandy joined us from the far south suburb of New Lenox, Ilinois for an evening of his beautiful songs. His lyrics and delivery are impecable. When you go out to his site be sure to purchase his new EP "Dirty Wings".

Unknown ComponentThe Unknown Component aka Keith Lynch joined us for an afternoon of his brilliant songwriting on his way from his home base in Iowa City, Iowa to a gig at Silvieand#39;s Lounge. He played his set on my trusty old Martin D-15 and sang some wonderful songs. I an certain that you will enjoy this man.

Katie ScrantomThis lovely lady came into the studio after a day of teaching children and we had a wonderful time talking about her life. Originally from Memphis, Katie survived Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and landed here in Chicago quite by chance. We are so lucky to have her. PeacekeeperKevin Corcoran, Steve Stokes, and Ben "Boots" Grimes came into the studio joined me for an afternoon of great original music. Samantha CathcartMy co-host for this show, Mr. Jeff Brown introduced me to this wonderful ladyand#39;s music. She is our first Grammy nominated performer. I obviously love this womanand#39;s voice and music. I am looking forward to Samantha and Canadian Sherri-Anne joining Goodbyehome for a Saturday show at Martyrand#39;s on September 26, 2009.

Luke Sayers Luke comes to us from Detroit, Michigan and now calls Chicago home and we are so lucky to have him. He joined me one October evening and we had so much fun. Besides being an excellent musician, he is a hell of a nice guy.

Holiday HouseGuitarist Paul Obis and vocalist Andi Donahue joined Jeff Brown, Christine Knodle, and myself and literally gave us all "goose bumps" What an incredible duo. I am certain that you will get them also. Hereand#39;s some pics from the show.

Kraig KenningThis brilliant "Road Dog" singer/songwriter took time out of his busy schedule to join Jeff Brown and I for a very special evening of his beautiful music. Maximus Riske joined us with friend and bandmate from the band Root Cause Mr. Rick Drehobl for an evening of music and emotions. Maximus is one of the most emotionaly expressive singer/songwriters I have met here in Chicago. Here is the stripped down core of the powerful Americana band that is Root Cause. What a joy to be present during this powerful performance.

Urban Aspirations is an organization that I am proud to support and promote. Their goal is to bring in together young aspiring musicians off the streets and into a safe environment where they can hone their skills and network with others while performing in the Sikia Restaurant which is part of the Washburne Culinary Institute on the Kennedy King Campus.
