How would you answer someone if they asked you, "How do I get eternal life?" Would your answer include anything related to how they interact with their neighbors? You might be surprised at the way Jesus answers this question when he is asked. Today we begin our fall series where we discover more of God's Neighboring heart for us and how that shapes us into those who neighbor others well.

Peter concludes his powerful letter with a reminder to us. As Christians, we are one with Christ. Our identity with our Lord means that our lives will be marked by what marked his—suffering, death, and resurrection. As we wrap up our series from Peter’s first letter, his conclusion may surprise you. He gives us a sharp warning about the cosmic war raging for our souls and he encourages us with God’s preserving grace. Don’t let the lion’s roar frighten you, since he’s been defeated by another lion.

Humility - what comes to mind when you hear that word? This week, we will consider what God means when he calls Christians to "clothe yourselves with humility toward one another" (1 Peter 5:5). What does this look like in the context of the local church? your family? any relationship? Come see how a bird feeder can remind you of the freedom you have in Christ - freedom to be truly humble!
