2013's The Conjuring  Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren work to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in their farmhouse. 2019's Velvet Buzzsaw A satire set in the contemporary art world scene of Los Angeles, where big money artists and mega-collectors pay a high price when art collides with commerce. 2019's Rim of the World Four misfit campers must band together and conquer their fears in order to save the world during an alien invasion. 1991's Necessary Roughness Due to NCAA sanctions, the Texas State University Fightin' Armadillos must form a football team from their actual student body, with no scholarships to help, to play their football schedule. 2013's 42 In 1947,  Jackie Robinson  becomes the first African-American to play in Major League Baseball in the modern era when he was signed by the Brooklyn Dodgers and faces considerable racism in the process. 2002's Minority Report In a future where a special police unit is able to arrest murderers before they commit their crimes, an officer from that unit is himself accused of a future murder. 1982's The Dark Crystal On another planet in the distant past, a Gelfling embarks on a quest to find the missing shard of a magical crystal, and so restore order to his world. 2018's Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Teen Miles Morales becomes Spider-Man of his reality, crossing his path with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities. 2018's Solo: A Star Wars Story During an adventure into the criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters Lando Calrissian years before joining the Rebellion. 1998's When Trumpets Fade A private in the latter days of WWII on the German front struggles between his will to survive and what his superiors perceive as a battlefield instinct. 2017's 47 Meters Down Two sisters vacationing in Mexico are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean. With less than an hour of oxygen left and great white sharks circling nearby, they must fight to survive.
