Joshua's final challenge to the people is to make a choice.  That choice is one that continues to be made today.  What is your final answer to the choice? To follow the Lord, or something else?

Join us as General Joshua gives us a glimpse into the history of God's people.  Passages like this are powerful reminders of God's faithfulness and the reality that God is pleased to use ordinary people to accomplish great things for the Kingdom.

As Joshua's life draws to a close, he gives us keen insight on how we can be live lives that are pleasing to God.

In Joshua 22 we find the Israelites nearly going to war with each other over a lack of communication and a nearly very messy misunderstanding. Many of the mistakes made in this passage are common pitfalls for us even today.

It is easy for us to celebrate Christmas and miss Christ. Join us on this Christmas Day as we look back to the first Christmas story to be challenged to keep Christ close this Christmas.

Having accomplished most of the military objectives in conquering the Promised Land, the tribes begin the process of settling into their new home.  In doing so, Joshua challenges the nation in their obedience to God and reminds them of their hope for the future.  As we begin to look forward to 2023, we can find these same challenges and encouragements fitting for us today.

A lengthy portion of Joshua deals with details regarding borders between tribes and cities...but it is summarized at the end of chapter 21 with a clear reminder of God's promises. God always keeps his word. We are reminded of that here in Joshua 21 - but also as we celebrate Advent.

Caleb returns to our story to teach us something about the importance of age and wisdom.

Some days stand out more than others. They are marked by significant events or accomplishments. Joshua 10 recounts one of the most extraordinary days that has ever happened as God put his power on display to reveal his commitment to his Word and his purposes.

Joshua and the Israelites are deceived by a cunning group of Canaanites seeking to avoid God's judgment.  This deception would have long-term consequences for the nation.  As God's people today, we need to continually look out for the various ways we can be deceived and renew our commitment to the truth of the Bible.

After the battle of AI, Joshua calls the nation together to review the standard that governs their lives. This week, we consider how we see that same standard in our own generation.

Israel dealt with the sin of Achan and gets back on track with God's plan. It serves as a powerful reminder of how God's people should handle sin in the church while serving as witness against the sins of the nation.

Achan gives us a prime example of the damage a sinful person can do to the people of God. Today, we contrast Achan's selfishness against Joshua's selflessness.

The Battle of Jericho is a stunning reminder of God's power. But more than that, we see a beautiful picture of God's patience and grace. Rahab's story continues this week as she survives the battle and is brought into the Family of God.

The story of Rahab’s deliverance and adoption into the nation of Israel is a stunning story of grace that is closer to our story than any of us might be willing to admit.

Prepared for a battle, Joshua and the Israelites receive a very specific and unorthodox battle strategy. While the command from the Lord seems strange and illogical, their faith trumps their logic and they follow His commands to victory. Are we willing to trust and obey the Lord’s commands as the Israelites did?

Joshua's encounter with the Commander of the Lord's Army reminds us of the reality of spiritual warfare that is taking place around us.

The Israelites are no longer provided with manna...instead, they begin to enjoy the fruit of God's promises.

The Israelites who were born in the wilderness are reminded about their true identity as the people of God. Do we remember our identity in Christ?

Joshua is commanded to build a monument to remind the nation about God's faithfulness. What role do spiritual milestones have in our lives? Are we doing a good job communicating them to the next generation?

Our lives are filled with obstacles and trials to overcome. God's plan for these challenges may differ for each of us, for each trial. What does faith look like when it is exercised in the midst of these challenges?

A new generation of Israelites reaches the Promised Land and send their own spies. This time, the outcome is vastly dierent. In the process, Israel makes an unlikely friend who has much to teach us about faith.

As Israel continues to prepare to enter the Promised Land, they have to deal with an early challenge to their unity as a nation.  Unlike the last time, they found themselves on the brink of the Promised Land. they are firmly committed to God's plan, his promises, and their unity as a people.

Where do Christians find Strength and Courage to face a hostile world? It doesn’t come from our own abilities...but from dependence on God and his Word. Thankfully, God has given us everything we need to know in the Bible. This week, we consider the significance of the Word of God in Joshua’s commissioning.

This week, we begin a new series through the Old Testament book of Joshua. This book will challenge us to walk faithfully with God in the face of overwhelming odds and an unfriendly culture.
