Trying to figure out what exactly the Bell Witch of Tennessee is. Ghost? Poltergiest? Entity? Disembodied spirit? It fits all but at the same time none. It's an interesting case. Hotel Cecil-where they check in but don't always check out. This hotel has a rather dark past-lots of death by suicide, natural causes or murder. We decided to return to this small cemetery. The spirits didn't want to come out to play. Can't make them perform on command. Beverage was a blood orange cider that I picked up at Trader Joe's. I'll buy it again. We don't always do cocktails, the bartender occasionally needs a break.

Cold Harbor was a slaughter. It was a very costly victory for Lee. 7000 dead. At the ruins of a parsonage you can still see where cannon balls hit. Walter, who grew up in the swamps and along the bayous has a few stories to tell us including personal experiences. Our last show of the year! Continuing with our theme of dark holiday traditions, we're getting told the backstory of the Nutcracker ballet. It's a bit dark-potential child bride,& pedophilia. We also found out that there's 2 versions of the story- the original which is rather dark and the 2nd which is just a little bit lighter, but not much. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

May have noticed we're doing something a little different tonight. We have a Cajun or 2 on staff so therefore we're doing a classic Christmas poem while enjoying some mulled wine.
