Are there moments you reach a dead end and you have to start all over again? That's what the disciples felt after the death of Jesus when they went back fishing only for Jesus to meet them in their frustration and clarify their mission. Hold on to faith, God is coming your way.

Quite often in life we reach a dead end when our hopes come crashing down. Like the disciples discouraged by the death of Jesus God is asking us to keep hope alive because He is in the business of restoring

Jesus trained his disciples that unless a grain of wheat falls and dies it remains alone. He taught the need for embracing risks in life to grow which He demonstrated by embracing the cross.

Jesus seemed a loser as He hung on the cross. Beaten and battered and could not even save himself. Everybody thought of him as a loser without knowing that He was actually winning. Our disappointments can become the stepping stones of our greatness. 

It is possible for us to be so much engrossed by what was that we miss on what is happening. God is asking us to move strong in faith, every disappointment is always an appointment with him. Unless we move with the times, we risk becoming history 

Many times we find ourselves waiting for the fulfilment of God's promises unaware what will happen. Like the discouraged disciples not knowing what will become of them after the death of their Master, we can trust God to fulfilling what He has promised. 

What do you do when your friends forsake you or quit on you during difficult moments. Jesus faced the cross alone and showed his Lordship by relying on his Father 

By washing the feet of his disciples, Jesus exemplified that true Lordship comes through service to all. Who may God be asking you to wash their feet?

Jesus humbled himself and embraced the cross because He knew that God's way of raising us is through Humility. God is an expert of lifting us up when we humble ourselves

Jesus never entered Jerusalem in hiding but rather confronted his enemies openly. You can never win over what you are not willing to confront

Quite often we miss out on opportunities because we have prejudiced minds on how He will visit us. The Jews missed on the Messiah because they coukd not imagine him riding to Jerusalem on a mule.

Palm Sunday reminds us the day Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey to the shouts of, "Hosannah to the King of the Jews". There before He would quite anyone who tried to unveil his identity. It was in humility and meekness exemplified through that donkey ride that Jesus was presented as the Lord of the Jews. In doing this, Jesus taught us that true Lordship is only exercised in humility and...

Man has numerously tried to find his identity from various things that he institutes in his quest to find fulfilment. He installs different things as lords. We have different things that acts as idols and compete with God for lordship over our lives. unfortunately we end filling frustrated and it does not take long before God makes it clear to us that He is the only one and true Lord.

After man lost his lordship following the fall, he started inventing self made ways to recover what he had lost. The first thing our parents did was to sew for themselves fig tree leaves for covering. Every effort we make to try and help ourselves without God is similar to sewing fig tree leaves for a covering. Only in God can man find the true covering and can his lordship be restored 

Man's fall at the garden of Eden made him lose his God given dominion. He rebelled against God and as a result creation rebelled against him and made him lose his lordship. Only in God can that lordship be regained 

God did not only create man as a subject to be ruled but also gave him dominion over the work of his hands. Man has delegated lordship over creation that he can only exercise in God 

God is the source of all lordship having created everything including man and therefore deserves control of his creation work as Lord

It's one thing to have victory but only God can add meaning to the victory. Victory obtained without God will always end up being empty. It's one thing to have life but only God can add meaning to that life.

God always have a remnants who despite being surrounded by compromise will keep their heads lifted high to honor God. These are people who will not be polluted by politics because they recognize God's higher authority.

At a time when people change at will and being right is no longer absolute but relative, God is asking his children to keep to the standard of being true and holy. God will never lower his standard to accommodate us. He who honours those that will keep to his standard during political moments 

While politicians may not mind the welfare of the citizens as they advance their agenda, the scriptures reminds us that the Name of the Lord is a strong Tower where the righteous run into and are safe. He is God who protects the trodden grass when two bulls fight 

No matter how long it takes, evil will never overcome good. God has marked a line that evil will never cross. Just the way death could not hold Jesus, it it impossible for evil to overcome good. We must be on the side of good even on matters politics

While God may delay before He punishes for evil done, He always repays. His delay aims to give us room to repent but when we fail to recognise his grace and goodness towards us, He acts. 

Many of us think of money as limitless but there are blessings that money will never buy. Politics is always associated with money but with God, money reaches a point of limit where only God can save

Many are the times when God will bypass the powerful and mighty choosing to work with the seemingly powerless and ignored. With God, it is never by the mighty or powerful but by his spirit.
