In his first letter to the church, Peter encourages us to humbly cast our cares on Him instead of caring them on our own. The same humility is required to acknowledge we are too weak to resist Satan on our own. This week our special guest Ziba Mbense discusses humility, prayer and our coming glory in Christ (from 1 Peter 5:6-11).

As believers, we are called to live as a family - to be vulnerable with one another, to be united in faith, and to serve one another. But what does that look like in practice? And how do we at times misunderstand this call? This week, Laura guides us through Paul's metaphor of the body, looking at 1 Corinthians 12:12-26.

In Acts 1:16-20, we find a Peter behaving completely different than from just before Jesus' Crucifixion. What changed? And how can we see that change in our own lives, to move from fear and uncertainty to bravery and boldness?

In examining John 1:1-14, Andre reveals the fear, hurt, and need for comfort that kept people from Jesus. Many of us are eager to request blessings from God. But are we fully prepared to enter His kingdom, and to "drink from the cup" as Jesus did? This week Andre compares a request from two disciples against that from a humble blind man. From Mark 10:32-54.

In Matthew 2:1-12, we see the story of King Harod's interaction with the Maji. It reveals the collision of two kingdoms; one built on works, fear and intimidation. The other is ushered in by Jesus; one of grace and peace. Follow along as we see how the Maji made their choice, and consider how each of us make our own.

This week we welcome Andre back from a well deserved sabbatical, hearing from Ezekiel 37:1-14. Does your spiritual walk sometimes seem barren and pointless? Ezekiel faced the unenviable task of preaching to a valley of dry, lifeless bones. Listen as Andre leads us through Ezekiel's response to God.

In Jeremiah, the prophet shows that the people of Israel had an incurable wound, one that could only be healed by a new covenant. And through Jeremiah, God promised this new covenant - one that would ultimately be fulfilled in the sinless life of Jesus, the only person both willing and able to reconcile all people to God.
