God is head over heels in love with you. NOW. In this place. We give because we are made in the image of God. A God who's character is of love and of giving.

Christ can not heal the person we are pretending to be. We are called to live an undivided life that Christ offers us.

How do we model the life Christ as called us into? We battle with duplicity daily. Yet we can model the character of God in our everyday lives if we can just establish the patterns in our life that show Jesus to the people in our lives.

Grace. The word that describes a love that most of us can not even begin to imagine. A love that is given to us with no strings attached.

Charity is not the check you put in the offering plate or the donation you make to GoodWill. Jack London wrote, "A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog." Charity is identify as fully as possible with both the humanity and the divinity of the people you claim to care about.

How does the voice of greed creep up in our lives? If I act and do the right things will my prayers be answered?

Faith is in the risk of stepping out. The act of trusting in something greater than one's self is having faith.
