This Christmas, as we reflect, remember Christmas means God is for us and with us no matter what’s against us. Jesus was born to save us from our sins. And that is the greatest gift ever given.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

Beneath the Christmas lists and all the holiday things is something we need even more, God’s goodness and peace. Mary’s song shows us the way to get more out of Christmas this year.

God’s ways are not our ways. If you hear His Word, obey His Word, and live it out, you can see Him work great miracles in your life.

“How can I get even more than what I have?” When Jesus is asked this question, He responds, “follow me.” Jesus can lead us into greater wealth, but not before He teaches us what true riches look like.

A tax collector named Matthew was stuck in a life he didn’t want until the day Jesus spoke the words, “follow me.” Jesus not only offered friendship, but also the chance to live for something more. Jesus still wants to lead His people, and His church, into a greater purpose.
