On Sunday, as we gathered for the first Sunday in 2026, we launched our annual series of Psalms for the Season, as we unpack a range of Psalms. Jamie McMillan unpacked Psalm 51 as we kicked off the series. 

On Sunday, Helen Warnock continued our Advent series as we looked at the place that whispers and rumours had in the Christmas story. The promise in Malachi was fulfilled through the life of John the Baptist as they prepared the way for Jesus. Advent is a time where we too prepare our hearts for Jesus. On Sunday, we continued our series on what belonging to the church looks like. This week, we looked at the place of Gifts within the church community. John unpacked the big theme of formation that Paul speaks of in this part of the letter and called us to be Children of Light; a people of an alternative Kingdom while we live here on Earth; a Kingdom that is marked by love and thanksgiving .  Ephesians 5:1-20
