Paul spoke eloquently about growing up in a working class family in England, the joy of discovering music through his neighborhood library and the highlights of his professional career.

Betty Buckley is a singer with a voice and personality as big as her home state of Texas. She is a gracious artist and she wasn’t afraid to reveal her thoughts about her experiences in the entertainment world. 

I had the opportunity to interview conductor Jamie Laredo and his wife and cellist, Sharon Robinson while Jaime was conductor of the Westchester Philharmonic Orchestra. They were both delightful and displayed the energy normally reserved for a young couple in love. 

Academy Award winning make up artist, Lois Burwell has worked on over six Steven Spielberg films including “War Horse”, “Saving Private Ryan” and “Lincoln.” Her candid conversation is a treasured moment in my career on “Center Stage with Pamela Kuhn”.  In this, the third and final episode of our interview, her generosity as an artist really shines through.

Lois Burwell is one of my most favorite interviews to date!  I met her when she was honored at the 2024 Turner Classic Movies Film Festival.  Part two of our interview was so illuminating as she told incredible stories of the realities of being a makeup artist in movies such as “Braveheart” and “Saving Private Ryan”. She remains a magical alchemist in the world of movie makeup.

 In the world of makeup for television and film, Lois Burwell is the alchemist of creation. She is also the Academy Award winning makeup artist for “Braveheart” and many other Hollywood movies.
