Center Point Assembly

Pastor Mike remains in the study on 1 Peter and we discuss what it means to "Love people in Spite of..." all the things they are doing that seem so unlovable. We are all commanded according to Peter to love people as Christ loved and still loves us. It's only as we are willing and able to submit our hearts to Christ can we love as Christ loves. In the same fashion that we are to love as God loves...

Pastor Mike picks up on the study of 1 Peter again and continuing in the area of submission. We find that submission is the central theme of the bible and is THE key to our salvation. A rebellious person by definition cannot be considered to be a true follower of Christ as Christ was our example by being fully submitted to following the will of His Father. It's a challenge beyond all challenges, b...

Pastor Mike is back after a couple weeks of traveling and he brings a message of great challenge to "the church" saying that God often brings interruptions to our lives with the intent of showing us areas of required course corrections. These interruptions come at unexpected times and without our approval. They are God given opportunities for mid-life course corrections, minor or major, yet import...

This week Ryp Hankins, former pastor, shares his heart and passion for experiencing the power of the supernatural. His passion for Jesus and His power through the Holy Spirit is evident as he teaches us how to live in the supernatural above the distractions and brokenness of our world. Happy New Year 2017! Pastor Mike welcomes the new year with a declaration of praise and honor to God, declaring His praises and His will be done in His church. The message is about lining up our plans to God's plan and then living with a purpose and intentionality and discipline. God is planner and He has created us to plan as well. The best thing a person can do is allow God's plan to be revealed...

This is a portion of our Christmas Eve service with Pastor Mike speaking on the importance of "Opening the Gift" of Jesus. As a child, Christmas was all about opening presents on Christmas morning. There's nothing wrong with giving each other gifts, but do we have the appreciation of the most important Gift, being Jesus. The point of the message tonight is in the "Opening of the Gift" not just rec...

Special guest speaker Ryp Hankins delivers a message challenging us on what it means to be "Reluctant" in our walk with God. Reluctance is really disobedience to follow the "Call of God" during the seasons of our life. The challenge for us, are we listening and then willing to obey the call of God to do what He is asking of us. This means being willing to risk our reputation by being willing to st...

Pastor Mike continues in the series of 1 Peter and what we find is that the story of Christmas is revealed in the action of Submission. Jesus had to submit to the plan of His Father, Mary & Joseph submitted to the call of their lives and so did all the other characters in the story of Jesus birth. And we find that is just the beginning of what submission in action is all about. We find that submis...

This week Pastor Mike is continuing on in the study of 1 Peter and talking about the difficult subject of "Submission". This may be one of the harder subjects to speak about because our natural flesh man would prefer only to submit to himself. The act of submission is an act of coming under the mission of another, and most of the time that is a foreign idea and always requires a humble heart. We d...
