This message is continuing in our desire to learn more how to pray as Jesus taught his disciples. Today we are focusing what Jesus meant when He prayed and asked God for His daily bread. Sounds like a simple basic request that we would ask and be thankful for our daily food. Certainly, that's a part of it, that we should be thankful for the daily blessings that God gives us, but we're going to fin...

As we begin 2018 we are continuing to talk about Praying as Jesus taught us to pray as given in the Lord's Prayer. This week we are focusing on what it means to pray "Thy Kingdom Come and Thy Will be Done in earth as it is in Heaven". It's so interesting when we see that this prayer encompasses all aspects of our lives. Today we learn how personal it is to pray that God's KIngdom come into our per...

The season of passing from on one year to the next is always a good opportunity to examine one's heart and purposely desire to make the new year better than the last year. We are interrupting our study on prayer to purposely examine Paul's teaching to the Philippians on what it means to forget the past and to strive and press forward to the future as he purposed in his life to make Heaven his goal...

We're continuing the discussion on learning to pray the way that Jesus taught his disciples when they asked him to teach them. We've broken the Lord's Prayer down into 7 segments and we're going to discuss each segment in detail to help us understand and apply this prayer model into a daily communion with God our Heavenly Father. The intent is to teach us to do more than simply recite this prayer...

We're beginning to speak on the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples to pray as they asked. As we've mentioned in previous messages, there was something obviously different about the life of Jesus and the disciples recognized it as in the way Jesus prayed. So they asked him to teach them. What we are going to try to do in this message and the next is to understand the details of what Jesus meant...
